E-Coaching: Life Coaching Online
|
|
"What we call the secret of happiness is no more a
secret than our willingness to choose life."
Leo Buscaglia What
is E-Coaching?
E-coaching
is a growing area of coaching online where clients can receive coaching
by
email or instant messaging instead of face-to-face or by telephone.
Life Coaching online is the best way of receiving coaching if you
live in a different country or your time is limited.
While
face-to-face or telephone coaching remains the most ideal form of
coaching, e-coaching is a good alternative for people who may feel
intimidated by the immediacy of traditional coaching. It is
also more
affordable for those on a tight budget.
How
Does it Work?
If
you use an instant
messaging service, it works in a very similar way to telephone
coaching. The first half hour session is free and then you
can
choose to book a series of future sessions.
If you prefer email, you pay for a series of email sessions (8 or 16), and your first enquiry and my reply is free. Each email you send and my reply counts as one session. Usually
we agree to 2 sessions per week and we continue until we have reached
the agreed amount of session and then you can either finish there,
continue with more e-coaching, or progress to traditional coaching.
Is
It For Me?
If
you want try coaching but are nervous about the one-to-one intensity of
traditional coaching, this may be for you. It is also for you
if you
have time constraints which prevent you from coaching during daytime
hours.
If
you find normal coaching a little on the expensive side, then life coaching online can be a cheaper alternative.
Sounds
right for me - what do I do next?
Send
me an email with 'E-Coaching' in the subject line, and give me a
summary of the reasons why you are interested in coaching.
Include any
questions you wish to ask. I will reply with the best
coaching I can
give you, and also give you the payment options. It is then
up to you
if you want to continue.
